First Timers
What do I need to know for my first class?
Please arrive 10 minutes early. This gives you time to settle into the space, and allows your instructor to take you through a 5-minute induction before class begins.
Where are you located?
Suite 1, 63–67 Athenaeum Place, Muswell Hill, London, N10 3HL
We’re near the end of the small street, located between Sainsbury’s and You Me Sushi.
Do I need to pre-book?
Yes. All classes must be booked in advance online through Momence. We do not accept walk-ins.
Do you have beginner classes?
Absolutely. If you’re new to the reformer, we recommend starting with REFORM | Fundamentals before progressing to REFORM | Core.
What should I wear?
Wear whatever you’re comfortable sweating in, but make sure it’s supportive, workout wear type clothing.
Grip socks are required for safety and hygiene.
You can bring your own or purchase a pair in-studio for £12.
Do you have showers?
We don't have showers but we have space for you to get changed, should you wish.
Is there parking?
Parking is free on the surrounding residential roads outside the restricted hours of 11am–1pm.
You can also park on Muswell Hill Broadway, where there are several pay-and-display bays.
A pay-and-display car park is also available directly opposite the entrance to Athenaeum Place, just to the right of the Everyman Cinema.

How many people in each class?
We have 8 people in each class. Small enough for everyone to get the attention they need. Big enough to the feel the energy.

How does the waitlist work?
Our waitlist is managed through Momence:
- If a space opens up, the next person on the list is automatically added to the class.
- You will receive a notification email and/or app alert if you are added.
- Once added, the booking is confirmed and standard cancellation windows apply.
We recommend keeping notifications switched on in your Momence account.
How do I cancel my booking?
Cancellations can be made through:
- The Momence app, or
- Your account on our website.
All cancellations are subject to our 12-hour cancellation window.
What happens if I am late?
We operate a strict 5-minute cut-off for safety reasons.
If you arrive more than 5 minutes after the class starts, you will not be able to join and your class credit will be lost.
Do you have a late cancellation policy?
We have a 12-hour cancellation window.
Late cancellations or no-shows will result in the loss of a class credit or a fee, depending on your membership type.

I’m pregnant, can I attend classes?
Many clients continue exercising safely during pregnancy from 12 weeks onwards, provided they maintain a similar level of intensity to what they were doing pre-pregnancy.
For your safety, pregnant clients may only attend classes with our prenatal-trained instructors.
Please always:
- Inform us before booking, so we can guide you to the appropriate instructor
- Let your instructor know before the class begins
- Attend only with one of our prenatal-trained instructors
If you are under 12 weeks pregnant, we recommend contacting us before booking so we can advise on the most suitable option for you.
If you’ve recently given birth, you’re welcome to return once you have medical clearance (usually from 6 weeks postpartum) and feel ready.

Can I extend my class pack?
Class packs are:
- Non-refundable
- Non-transferable
- Non-exchangeable
- Valid only until the expiry date shown at purchase
Extensions are only granted in exceptional circumstances (e.g., serious medical issues).
Holidays or general illness do not qualify.
If you believe your situation may qualify, please contact us before your pack expires and we’ll review it case-by-case.
How do I cancel my membership?
Memberships require a minimum 3-month commitment.
After this period, you may cancel by providing 30 days’ written notice via email to hello@thereformroom.co.uk
